Dr Dariusz Wójcik

Dr Dariusz Wójcik is a Professor of Financial Geography at the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore, and an Honorary Research Associate at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford as well as Fellow of St Peters College Oxford. He chairs the Global Network on Financial Geography and is the Editor in Chief of Finance & Space journal. His awards include the Fellowship of the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Fellowship of the Regional Studies Association.

Dr Panagiotis (Takis) Iliopoulos

Dr Panagiotis (Takis) Iliopoulos is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Business at K.U. Leuven, Belgium. He completed his PhD at Birkbeck College, and his research interests include industrial relations, political economy, and financial geography.

Dr Stefanos Ioannou

Dr Stefanos Ioannou is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Oxford Brookes University. He completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Leeds in 2016, under the supervision of Gary Dymski and Malcolm Sawyer. His main research interests are macroeconomics, economic geography, and banking and finance.

Dr Liam Keenan

Dr Liam Keenan is an Assistant Professor in Economic Geography at the School of Geography, University of Nottingham. He completed a PhD in Human Geography at Newcastle University under the supervision of Andy Pike, Jane Pollard, Neill Marshall, and Paul Langley.

Dr Julien Migozzi

Dr Julien Migozzi is an Urban Studies Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. He was a student fellow at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, and holds a PhD in geography. His research interests lie at the intersection of financial geography, urban studies, and economic sociology to examine how digital capitalism reshapes cities, markets, and inequalities, combining spatial data science with qualitative fieldwork.

Dr Timothy Monteath

Dr Timothy Monteath is an Asisstant Professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies, Warwick University. He received his PhD in Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His interests interest included land ownership and registration, finance and real estate, and the use of big data and new digital methodologies in the social sciences.

Dr Vladimír Pažitka

Dr Vladimír Pažitka is an Associate Professor in Banking and Finance at Leeds University Business School. He completed his DPhil at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. His research interests include financial technology (FinTech), investment banking networks, international trade in financial services, venture capital and private equity.

Dr Morag Torrance

Dr Morag Torrance is a Research Associate at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford and holds a DPhil in Economic Geography on the financialization of urban infrastructure. She has worked in finance in Amsterdam, London, New York, and Sydney, and her work bridges the gap between academia and the private sector to pursue tangible solutions to benefit society.

Dr Michael Urban

Dr Michael Urban is Chief Sustainability Strategist at Lombard Odier Group where he supports the Group’s Managing Partners in the design and implementation of the Group’s global sustainable investment strategy. Michael is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and a member of Oriel College.

Dr James Cheshire

Dr James Cheshire is a Professor of Geographic Information and Cartography at the University College London, where he directs the UCL Social Data Institute. James is the recipient of major awards from the Royal Geographical Society, The American Association of Geographers, The North American Cartographic Information Society and British Cartographic Society. He was President of the Society of Cartographers between 2017 and 2019.

Oliver Uberti

Oliver Uberti is a former senior design editor for National Geographic, who loves helping scientists translate their research into memorable visuals. Together with James Cheshire, he is co-author of the critically acclaimed books London: The Information Capital, Where the Animals Go and Atlas of the Invisible.
